Mahmoud Draz, researcher at the DAI-Laboratory of the TU Berlin won first place in the video competition “60SEC_Energiewende” with his Lego animation video. The animation video lasts one minute and points out the energy turnaround and the flexible use of renewable energies. The competition was organized by Berlin Partner as part of WindNode, the showcase for intelligent energy from the northeast of Germany.

At the DAI Laboratory of the TU Berlin, we have been working on intelligent solutions in the energy sector for more than ten years. The WindNode project aims to ensure flexibility and an increased use of renewable energies. A network of flexible energy users will be established, who can adjust their power consumption according to the fluctuating supply of wind and solar power plants.
