More than 130 employees make the DAI-Labor one of the largest research institutes in the area of smart systems.

The Competence Center “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning” (CC AIM) is one of six competence centers at the DAI Labor and works on intelligent information processing. The Information Retrieval and Machine Learning Group is looking for an experienced post-doc to lead the research group focusing on data analysis and machine learning.

The position is full time and paid according to TV-L E-13 / E-14 funding scale.

Responsibilities

Tasks include the coordination of the scientific work of the CC NGS. This includes the application and coordination of research projects as well as the organizational coordination of the CC.

The affiliated institute of the Technische Universität Berlin – GT-ARC – is looking for a Research Assistant (m/f/x) to work on a flagship project BeIntelli on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for the mobility of the future. Technological innovations for researching, developing and testing new ideas and AI-based approaches will be implemented within the framework of a holistic approach to mobility, from autonomous and connected driving, autonomous local public transport to automated last-mile logistics solutions and intermodal applications. The mobility scenarios are validated by autonomous test vehicles (cars, buses, vans, delivery robots) and new cooperative, connected and autonomous mobility scenarios on the test field in the center of Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the flagship project BeIntelli a showcase project for the development of novel IT architectures and applications for the mobility of the future
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of interconnected software stacks for the vehicle, edge and cloud
  • Solve scientific and technical challenges to model and implement mobility solutions, such as GLOSA, Smart & Valet Parking, Last Mile Delivery

Das An-Institut der Technischen Universität Berlin – GT-ARC – sucht eine*n wissenschaftliche*n Mitarbeiter*in (m/w/d) für die Mitarbeit vom Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS) geförderten „Offenen Innovationslabor KI“ zur Förderung gemeinwohlorientierter KI-Anwendungen und dem Arbeitsplatz der Zukunft. GT-ARC ist eine Einrichtung mit dem Ziel, Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien in Kooperation mit anderen Forschungseinrichtungen und weiteren Partnern aus der Wirtschaft zu betreiben.

Im Projekt sollen Akteure (Einzelpersonen, Teams, Organisationen) dabei unterstützt werden, gemeinwohlorientierte KI-Anwendungen zu erstellen. Dies geschieht durch die Veranstaltung von Workshops und Vorträgen zur Wissensvermittlung und Problemerhebung sowie durch die Entwicklung einer Reihe von Softwarewerkzeugen.

Der Fokus dieser Stelle liegt in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Kommunikation der im Projekt zu erarbeitenden Inhalt im Bereich gemeinwohlorientierte KI. Ziel ist, dass Themenfeld Erklärbarkeit von KI-Anwendungen für Endanwender und Entwickler zu forcieren.

Für die Konzeption und Umsetzung erweitern wir unser Team und suchen nach talentierten und hochmotivierten Mitarbeitenden, die unsere Visionen der Gesellschaft, Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft kommunizieren und damit näherbringen.

Aufgabenbeschreibung:

  • Mitarbeit an einem praxisorientierten Forschungsprojekt zur Unterstützung gemeinwohlorientierter KI-Anwendungen
  • Planung, Gestaltung und Organisation von Veranstaltungen und Workshops
  • Verwaltung und Bespielung unserer Social-Media-Kanäle
  • Bereitstellung von Projektinformationen und Pressearbeit
  • Inhaltliche Betreuung des Webauftritts für unser Flagship Projekt BeIntelligent
  • Verfassen und redaktionelle Ausarbeitung von Beiträgen
  • Planung und Durchführung von Kampagnen
  • Unterstützung in der Vermarktung und Vernetzung des Projektvorhabens
  • Zugang zu einem attraktiven Forschungsumfeld und zukunftsträchtigen Themen

Erwartete Qualifikation:

  • Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium zum Beispiel im Bereich Marketing und Kommunikation oder Journalismus oder vergleichbar/äquivalent
  • Erfahrungen in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und sichere Kommunikation in der Pressearbeit
  • Erfahrungen im Journalismus
  • Kenntnisse im Social-Media Marketing
  • Hervorragende Fähigkeiten der deutschen Sprache, gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache
  • Starkes Ausdrucksvermögen im Verfassen von Texten
  • Interesse an technologischen und innovativen Lösungen im Bereich Arbeitsplatz der Zukunft
  • Bereitschaft zum interdisziplinären Arbeiten und die Neugierde, neue Sachverhalte sich anzueignen
  • Grundverständnis von Bildbearbeitung und Gestaltung von Vorteil

Erwartete Qualifikation:

  • Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium zum Beispiel im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Marketing oder vergleichbar/äquivalent
  • Erfahrungen im Bereich Projektmanagement
  • Hervorragende Fähigkeiten der deutschen Sprache, gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache
