The Competence Center “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning” (CC AIM) is one of six competence centers at the DAI Labor and works on intelligent information processing. The Information Retrieval and Machine Learning Group is looking for an experienced post-doc to lead the research group focusing on data analysis and machine learning.

The advertised position is within the competence center Self-Adaptive Services (CC SAS) locates, which specifically deals with the use of methods of distributed artificial intelligence for the development of self-adaptive software systems. For this CC we are looking for a person with management skills for the coordination of the management tasksand the project acquisition. Specifically, it is intended tto coordinate resarch in the eHealth domain.

Responsibilities

The DAI Laboratory (Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratory) at the Technical University of Berlin and the German-Turkish Research Centre for ICT (GT-ARC) are looking for a research assistant to support the development of autonomous and intelligent cyber security solutions that are capable of implementing self-protection for IT infrastructures. Within the framework of the BMBF-funded Cosy research project, approaches are being developed that are able to predict threats to IT infrastructures. Using reinforcement learning, an agent is being developed that predicts what the most promising sequence of attack actions is in order to reach an attack target. We offer access to an attractive research environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure and access to new and emerging technologies (High Performance Computing, GPU Cluster) and a testbed infrastructure in the city centre. Our close cooperation with renowned universities, research institutes and industry offers optimal conditions for first-class research work. Within the framework of the project, there is the possibility of carrying out a doctorate and it is expected that scientific publications are regularly produced on the project/doctorate progress.

We are looking for a Research Associate (m/f/x) to work on a flagship project on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for the mobility of the future. Technological innovations will be implemented as part of a holistic approach to mobility, from autonomous and connected driving, to autonomous public transport, to automated last mile logistics solutions and intermodal applications. The mobility scenarios are validated with autonomous vehicles and new mobility scenarios in real-world operation at the DIGINET test site.

Responsibilities

  • Development of dynamic applications as well as the conception of modern and user-friendly user interfaces (web and multimodal) for novel applications of the mobility of the future
  • Implementation of responsive user interfaces for various mobility applications using Javascript, React, HTML5 and CSS
  • Solving scientific and technical challenges of user interaction in scenarios of automated and connected mobility

The DAI-Labor and the Agent Technologies chair of the Technische Universität Berlin under the leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Responsibilities

Your profile

  • Diploma, Master Degree in computer science or equivalent
