Foundation DAI-Labor

The Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (DAI-Laboratory) of the Technische Universität Berlin was founded by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Sahin Albayrak in 1992. Since its foundation, the DAI-Laboratory has pursued the goal of using artificial intelligence to master the problems and challenges of our society. Since the beginning, intelligent systems and services have been researched and developed.

Prof. Albayrak received his doctorate in 1992 and founded the DAI Laboratory at the TU Berlin in the same year. Prior to that he completed his studies of computer science at the TU Berlin. His habilitation followed in 2002 and the appointment as professor at the chair, Agent Technologies in Business Applications and Telecommunications (AOT) at TU Berlin, took place in 2003.
