Mobile Edge Computing aims at bringing cloud computing technology close to the user, enabling novel applications and services that take mobile networks to another level.
Our team deals with bringing Machine Learning to the now powerful mobile edge to exploit rich cellular IoT environments for a wide range of Smart City applications, to enable truly autonomous mobility, improve the management of the programmable network infrastructure, and more.
The goal of our efforts is to turn the compute and storage resources at the network edge into visionary applications for the interconnected society. We develop IoT middleware architectures that aim at the dynamic analysis and evaluation of sensory data at the near or far network edge.
