Management of Distributed Systems

The size and complexity of today‘s distributed systems, e.g. for the internet of things, presents new and unique challenges, requiring new method for the management of those systems. This includes monitoring and simulation tools for capturing the different interactions of running systems in real-time and for optimizing them, without overburdening the user, but also the actual infrastructures and protocols for realising dynamic, distributed, and resilient systems and for making best use of available resources. The CC ACT is engaged in researching those techniques and methods and in applying them in the multi-agent framework JIAC.
