The goal of CC ACT is the development of methods, frameworks, and tools for the creation of agent-oriented applications and services. The CC ACT is especially concerned with the continuous development and maintenance of the JIAC framework, combining agents with aspects of service-oriented architectures, which is used in the context of several projects with partners from both, industry and research. Another focus lies in modeling agent system, e.g. using techniques from business process modeling. Besides the BPMN editor „VSDT“, several other tools are aggregated within the „JIAC Toolipse“, that can be used for the effective and efficient development of JIAC applications.
