Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have made a major leap in development in recent years and are in the public eye due to a large number of applications in the field of image processing and also in recommender systems or in language processing (SIRI or similar).

The aim of this project is to investigate how machine learning can automate the process of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) -based building inspection and what the most suitable methods are. Videos are used as examples for training the models, which were created by flying over brick facades in the Baltic Sea region.
