Abstract: Minister Dr. Yıldırım will talk about the increasing role of Information and Communication Technologies in the growth of the Republic of Turkey with examples from on-going and planned projects of the government in the domains of Transport, Telecommunication, Government and Education.
Some of the highlights will be the undersea tunnel and metro construction through Bosphorus in the Marmaray project, new airport and high-speed train projects, national transportation portal (UUP) project, regulations and licensing for next generations in telecommunications, the e-government project “E-Devlet Kapısı”, and F@TIH Project, one of the largest education projects in the world.
