Smart e-User is “German High Tech Champion 2014”
With main focus on “Urban Distribution” the 10.000€ prize was awarded in Paris
At the German embassy in Paris the “German High Tech Award 2014” was granted – five projects received the prize, the research project Smart e-User, amongst others, in which DAI-Labor of TU Berlin is engaged as a partner. Especially the research on applicable models for electric mobility is explored in the project.
DAI-Labor employee Denis Pozo, who is the project coordinator of Smart e-User at DAI-Labor, attended the event in Paris and presented the project at the logistics trade SITL (Semaine Internationale du Transport et de la Logistique) Europe 2014/ECO Transport & Logistics on April 2nd and 3rd.

Academics were asked to apply for the competition up until February, 5th, with main subjects concerning vehicle technology, light construction, city logistics, sound pollution, combined traffic systems as well as other topics of logistics. The winners earn a prize money of 10.000€ plus support by commercialization of their project.
Inside the cooperative project “International Science Marketing” which is conducted by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung, the DAAD, DFG, and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the “German High Tech Champion Award” is granted every year. The initiative “Promote Innovation and Research in Germany” is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research under the name “Research in Germany”.
