“Science Bridging Nations” on January 23rd 2014
The “German-Turkish Year of Research, Education and Innovation 2014” was initiated by the German Ministry of Education and Research as well as the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. GT-ARC (German-Turkish Advanced ICT Research Centre), a partner of DAI-Labor, was chosen as one of the research institutions to present itself at the exhibition “Science Bridging Nations”, which is also connected to the opening event of the German-Turkish Year of Science.
Through the Year of Science program, the intention is not only to support the collaboration of young talents in business or research in Germany and Turkey, but also to escalate the diversity and excellence of German-Turkish initiatives and activities in the field of research, education and innovation. In general, the background of the “German-Turkish Year of Research, Education and Innovation 2014” is to carry the already existing cooperation of both countries into the broad public, to support new initiatives and to strengthen and advance the cooperation in the future.
On January 23rd, the German-Turkish Year of Science will be introduced by the Experts Forum “German-Turkish Cooperation: Knowledge Transfer in Education, Research and Innovation”, followed by the exhibition “Science Bridging Nations”.
