Final meeting of the project “Intermodal roadside assistance for large cities”

The final meeting of the project “Intermodal roadside assistance for large cities” – in german: „Intermodale Mobilitätsassistenz für Großstädte“ (IMA) at the TU Berlin was on the 9th of December, 2015.

In this project various transportation systems get connected smart. The user is able to enter his/her preferences like time, sustainability and costs to the route plan. Special on this project is also that vehicles, which can be rented like cars and bikes are considered by the route plan. The current traffic situation in real time will be also considered, so that if the metro station is under construction you will get another route plan. Service providers and services can integrate themselves into the open platform.

The project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, ended after three years at the end of November, 2015. Project partner is the Turkisch Advanced Research Centre (GT-ARC) an An-institute of the TU Berlin.
