Digitization and the networked environment is on the rise. Now is the time to no longer just control the networked and intelligent devices, but to design them so that they perceive their environment and act accordingly. Our goal is to go one step further and offer intelligent function management that collects and interprets data from sensors, in other words, thinks along with them. An example would be the vacuum cleaner that pauses when the phone rings. We want to offer people in all areas of life an autonomous, offline-capable and human-like support. Data is a sensitive topic and for us at the DAI-Laboratory it only makes sense if data security is taken into account.
