The DAI Laboratory of the Technical University Berlin is looking for a research assistant (m/f/x) to join the interdisciplinary group of the application center “Smart Energy Systems”. In this center, the activities and research focus on the new trends and applications of digitization and artificial intelligence to facilitate and overcome the new challenges of the energy transition. The position involves working on the project “EMoT – National Test Center for Electromobility”. The EMoT’s goal project is to establish a central system for monitoring and increasing the quality of charging processes for electric vehicles in order to sustainably improve the user experience when charging. Due to the extended requirements and demands on the future charging process, such as the fully automated initiation and execution via Plug & Charge as well as the complete integration into the energy grid, the complexity will further increase due to the number of systems in the process chain.
