On September 23th, 2015, board members of the online pharmacy DocMorris N.V. have been informed during a visit about the current state of research on smart home, especially in the health area. Director of the DAI-Labor of the TU Berlin, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Sahin Albayrak, led the DocMorris board members Max Müller (Chief Strategy Officer) and Prof. Dr. Christian Franken (Chief Pharmaceutical Officer) and also Jan Schlimgen (Head of Institutional Relations and Legal Counsel) through the showroom and presented the latest research results. Martin Pietzonka from Connected Living joined also the tour.

The future housing options in the smart home has been presented to them. The kitchen has cabinets, that can be adjust an open mechanically, the living room, which has furniture that already provides intelligent information about the user or the health sector with the Smart Bike are all a part of the presentation. Intelligent assistants, Smart Services and Smart Systems not only increase the comfort of living, but also the welfare of the residents. All of those functions have been shown in the showroom.
