An integrated user interface providing unified access to intelligent environments and personal media

Abstract

This paper describes the user interface and interaction model of a system for personal environment control. The Personal Environment Controller (PECo) is a digital assistant system that provides users a unified facility for organizing and accessing different media repositories and physical objects (projectors, TV sets, hi-fi systems, Lights, shutters, etc.).
